XJ13 - Rear Wheel Profile

The Jaguar XJ13 is a legendary prototype racing car developed during its era. Designed to compete at the Le Mans 24-hour race, it featured a mid-motor layout and was powered by a high-performance motor, which was a marvel of engineering at the time. Known for its sleek and aerodynamic design, crafted by Malcolm Sayer, the XJ13's curves were ahead of its time and bore the touch of the designer behind other famous Jaguar models.

Only one XJ13 was ever built, making it an extremely rare and valuable piece of automotive history. Despite its promise, the car never raced due to changes in regulations and internal company decisions. After several years, the XJ13 was involved in a high-speed accident during a test run, but it was painstakingly rebuilt and restored to its former glory. This iconic car made its public debut much later, capturing the imagination of car enthusiasts and becoming a cherished symbol of Jaguar's racing heritage.
